Hello!
Today I am going to copy one of my blogging friend's ideas, so make sure to check out her awesome blog HERE.
Outside of my window: The trees are blowing and changing colors. The grass is finally green again, and it is growing quickly!
Around the house: I just finished washing dishes. K-LOVE is playing on my laptop. My sisters are working on school.
My school: Well, I have a lot of books to read this week. I am working on pictures for my photography course, struggling through algebra, and hoping to get onto geometry soon. I am dreading writing an essay for a group writing class.
I am thinking about: Compassion, like always. Specifically my sponsored child Mabel who will be graduating this month, and all the lives changed and fun had during Compassion blogger's month. I am also thinking about how cool it would be to go on a missions trip.
Prayer requests: Sharmin- she needs a sponsor before October 12. Carlos- a boy I corresponded with before he moved away from the Compassion project. There is no church near his home.

Mainor- Part Two
Hello!
First of all, I want to thank you all soo much for your prayers for Mainor. As you may have seen, I wrote that prayer is powerful. And it is. God tugged on someone's heart to sponsor this precious boy. And she sponsored him.
I am now the proud sponsor of Mainor!! All the kids always tug on my heart, they are all so cute. But with Mainor, it was different. Maybe it was because his mom works, so he is probably alone all day. Or maybe it was because his house is made of dirt and mud, and it floods in El Salvador. But one thing is for sure, it was God.
While I have not collected all the money from my ride, once I collect it I will have around $548! I will use $456 to sponsor Mainor. I have not decided how I will donate the rest to Compassion, but I have some ideas.
Thank you so much for praying for a sponsor for Mainor. Please keep praying for him, that God will bless and protect him.
Also, please keep praying for Sharmin. Her sponsor has not found her yet. But, I know that God has someone special in mind for her. If you are that special person, e-mail me lizzie4compassion@gmail.com I will let you know how to start your sponsorship.

Sharmin
Hello, again.
I know two posts in one day- what?! Well, I have planned on telling you about the other precious child I am advocating for.

Sharmin
Sharmin is four years old. She lives in the Bangladesh. (That is right by India.) She is very blessed to live with her dad and mom. Her dad works as a laborer, and her mom stays at home. Sharmin helps her mom by running errands. She has two siblings. Since she likes to play with dolls and play group games, I wonder if she plays with her siblings. Sharmin is in preschool. She does average in school, but I bet with a sponsor's support she could do even better than that!
Where she lives, people often get sick. Because Sharmin is enrolled in a Compassion project, she will be taught proper hygeine, have medical check-ups, and have access to doctors if she gets sick.
Please sponsor this beautiful girl. I only have her until mid-October. I realize that some of you aren't in the position to sponsor another a child, so would you please pray for her?

The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. James 5:16
Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. Matthew 18:19
