About Me

Hi!

My name is Elisabeth, but most people call me "Lizzie" or some variation thereof.

I am a Christ-follower, Compassion sponsor and correspondent, and homeschool graduate (go class of 2015!).  I love ice cream, warm days, swimming, concerts, writing letters, and traveling.

I love the ministry of Compassion and adore writing to my kiddos!  God has used Compassion to show me that He is always faithful to provide.  If you would like to learn more about sponsoring a child, please visit compassion.com

In August, I am going to attend a local university to study education.  In the future, I would like to use my degree to teach English abroad as a way to share the Gospel with students and to teach ESL here in the States.

Thanks for stopping by!  I'd love to hear from you :)  Feel free to e-mail me at lizzie4compassion@gmail.com

  6. Hi Lizzie,

Welcome to Compassion blogging! I'm relatively new myself. I became an Advocate in April (2012) after going on a sponsor tour to India in March (2012). Great job on your bike-a-thon event. God bless!!!

  8. Hi Lizzie,

Didn't realize you are hoemschooled. I was homeschooled back in the day (graduated from high school in 2004)!!!! Very good to see someone your age carrying about compassion kids. Keep up the good work.

  11. Oh hey, Lizzie, it's Susanna-Cole from over at our Compassion, just was popping over to your blog and saw you are home schooled! I was homeschooled, as well. Of course, I've been out of school for a while (graduated at 16 in 2007), but I loved having an unconventional education. Also, you mentioned watching a little girl by day, do you nanny? I'm a nanny for 7 month old baby. Love what you're doing and so young, I wish I had that compassionate of a heart at your age. :)

    1. So cool Susanna! I just came back from reading your blog - very cool! Ah lucky, I will still graduate at 18. But homeschooling is awesome :) Nope, I am not a nanny, though that is very neat that you are. My family watches a 21 month old lil girl for a friend of the family. :)
