  1. It looks like you had fun! That's especially neat that you were able to meet Jey. And our sponsored teen, Oscar, would agree with you about the ferris wheel!!

    1. I did have a lot of fun! And Jey is awesome :) I never thought about that before- if our sponsored kids liked amusement parks or such. It is good to know that your Oscar is sensible! lol ;)

  3. Awesome photos! I think I'll write to my Mbula about Jey, since they're from the same country! So exciting that you got to see all those great artists, especially the Newsboys! I like Peter Furler better too, but the guys are still great :) And wow, Audio A had one of the Hands and Feet kids with them?! How cool is that!

    1. How cool is that! So cool! I loved seeing that lil boy, so I had to take a photo :) And yes, I am going to write my kiddos about Jey too I think. It is incredible because he is going to be the first one in his family to get married! :) I just read through my post again. And what I wrote totally was not what I meant to say. I do like Peter Furler better - you know, the whole Australian accent thing! But, Michael Tate is pretty awesome too. I always loved DC Talk, which I believe he was the lead singer there. So they are both pretty awesome, just so different from each other :)

    2. You're right, Michael was great in DCT! And I love his sister Lynda Randall's music too... they look like twins but their music is soooo different!

    3. I will have to listen to Lynda's music! I just looked her up - it's funny that she married a Michael. I wonder if it gets confusing having a brother and husband with the same name! :)

  5. My husband grew up going to Kingdom Bound : )

I see the conversation about Michael Tait and how he was in DC Talk. Did you know the new singer of Audio Adrenaline was also in DC Talk? It's weird...I grew up listening to DC Talk and the Newsboys....now when I hear Toby Mac I think of DC Talk...and when I hear Audio Adrenaline I think of DC Talk...and when I hear Newsboys I don't think of Newsboys but DC Talk! When I hear Phil Joel or Peter Furler (both now solo artists), I think of Newsboys. It's gotten so confusing!!!!

    1. So cool, Jill! I should have made the connection when I read where your inlaws live, but didn't!

Yes. It was so funny because my friend kept saying that TobyMac should come cause then there could be a dc Talk reunion (Michael Tait and Kevin Max were already there of course). I told her that he should come cause he's like my favorite singer! lol ;) When I hear Newsboys, it is so different now, not like it used to be. Peter Furler still sounds like Newsboys to me too! I actually got to see him in concert with Phil Joel one time!! :)
