Five things to make Christmas memorable

Hello, friends!

I can hardly believe that Christmas is but two days away.  Because forgetting this Christmas would be unreasonable, here are five ways to make this Christmas stick with you forever-

  1. Take Pictures of everything!  Photos of the gifts you get and the ones you give, family, decorations, and so many more things can help you capture the special day.
  2. Start a tradition.  I love traditions!  Perhaps singing a song, reading the story of Jesus' birth, or waiting to open gifts until the night could start a tradition that you will remember for years to come.
Oops, I need your help!  I can't think of any more ways to make Christmas memorable.  Please share some ways to remember Christmas or some traditions you have.

Lizzie :)

  2. I love your idea of waiting to open Christmas presents until night time.
Ummmm one thing my family did one year was really special to me. We started it on Christmas Eve and it continued through Christmas Day, but we called it PJ (for pajamas) Praise Jesus night. We wore pjs and had a yellow canvas and wrote the things we were thankful to God for! It was really sweet. Then we hung it on the wall. That could be something you could do to make Christmas memorable.
Another thing my Dad likes to do is read the prophecies about Jesusand where they were fulfilled.
    Blessings and merry Christmas!

    1. That is really cool, Emily! My family does not wait until night to open gift either, but I think I may do it someday with my kids. I love both of the things you do. It is really important to be grateful and to know how Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies. I hope you had a great Christmas!
      Happy New Year!
