Mexico 2014

I am so excited to tell you that I will be going to Mexico!  As you probably know, I have been wanting to go on a missions trip for a long time.  So I am sure you can imagine how excited I am that the opportunity has finally come!

It's been really cool too because I know that God will be glorified through this and He will use this trip to draw me closer to Him.  He's given me such peace about this trip in two specific areas - finances and Compassion.  I can only go on this trip if I raise the money I need to go (approximately $1800).  But I know that if God wants me there, He'll get me there.  I'm so excited to see how He provides!  I always thought that if I went to a country where Compassion worked, I would have to visit my kiddos there or a Compassion project.  However that won't be possible this time.  And I totally feel at peace about it!  I'm sure a time will come when I can see Compassion in the field :)

Here's some info if you're interested -

• I'll be serving with OSI (Operation Serve International).
• I'm going with my friend who has gone the past 3 years.
• We'll be in Mexico City area.
• I hope to serve in the children's tent......that's definitely where my heart is. There's also simple medical, optical, etc.
• We'll minister to the communities through local churches.
• We'll go to a church service and the market on Sunday.

I would love it if you prayed for me...specifically that God will provide the funds and that He will prepare me for what I will experience in Mexico.  Thanks!
