Dearest sponsors, my hearty greetings to you. I am doing well and praying to God for your safe. I am happy with that your sharing such things, what you saw, rivers, mountains, etc (I told her about my family's camping trip. We took photos at the top of Bald Mountain.) I have read which you have sent Bible verse for me. The God will love everybody. I like cycling. I will go by bicycle to my neighbors houses. I saw a fun tree, if I touch that will close, and again it will come normal position.
Please pray for my family and my mouth problem. I will pray for you. I will see for your letter.
Yours loving child.
G. Aruna
I will be calling Compassion too to see what mouth problem Aruna has. Until then, though, I will be praying for her. UPDATE: Compassion said it is probably temporary, an inquiry is pending.
I am linking up with Blogging from the Boonies this week for Mail Call Monday.
Write to your child today!

That's fun that you get to correspond with Aruna!! We have an almost 12-year-old Indian boy named Arun! I hope that her mouth problem goes away quickly....just a heads' up, sometimes Compassion is a little behind on physical problems...our former child, Shamim, lost her hearing when she was a Compassion child and it took over 2 years for Compassion to "know" about it when I called. And it never showed up on her bio. I got most of the info on Shamim's hearing loss from her letters.
ReplyDeleteOh that is terrible. I knew that Shamim was deaf, but I guess I just thought she was born that way. I hope that Compassion becomes more on top of these things. I just e-mailed them. Hopefully they know or can do an inquiry. I will post when I find out something :)
