Mail Call Monday

This past week, I received two beautiful letters.  I will be linking up with Blogging from the Boonies for Mail Call Monday.

The first was from my Kartini in Indonesia.  She is 9, and this is the second letter she wrote all by herself!

Dear Elisabeth,
Shalom, how're you?  My family and I are fine.  I've got and read your letter.  I often get letter from project that's from you.  I saw your very good pictures.  (probably pictures from my Locks of Love haircut and fishing pictures from camping)  Do you like eating fish?  Does the fish in your city come from your fishing?  I love eating fish but the price of fish in my place is so expensive.  That's all from me.  God bless.

The second letter was from Lucie.  She is 16 and lives in Haiti.  I had been waiting a while for this letter, and I am very happy to get it :)

Dear Elisabeth,
I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ.  I am glad to write this letter to you.  The fish I have close to me are called Bourama.  (I could not find them on google though.)  The river by me has no big fish like yours.  Me and my family are well.  No, I don't play any instrument.  I will continue to pray to God for you to bless you.  Pray for me and my family.

    1. Yes, me too! I had written all of my kids after my camping trip in July. We do a lot of fishing on it, and I was thrilled with responses to my letter :)

  2. Love them... how precious! Thanks for sharing. We received a great letter from Erik & Neema about a week ago. I love finding letters in the mail box!

Maureen will speak in SC but not sure where else. Just wanted to let you know.
